AB Invest Asset Management actively manages three open-ended funds: the Arab Bank MENA Fund, the IIAB Islamic MENA Fund and the IIAB Sukuk & Murabaha MENA Fund.

Arab Bank MENA Fund

The Arab Bank MENA Fund is an open-ended fund that offers investors the opportunity to invest in the capital markets of the MENA region, with a particular focus on listed equities. The Fund is long only, equity-focused, and aims to achieve an annual average net return in the range of 10% to 15% over a full investment cycle. The Fund aims to carry a lower volatility than that of the market, by diversifying across asset classes, geographies and sectors, depending on market conditions.

IIAB Islamic MENA Fund

The IIAB Islamic MENA Fund is an open-ended fund that offers investors the opportunity to invest in the capital markets of the MENA region, with a particular focus on listed equities, whilst adhering to Shariah principles. The Fund is long only, equity-focused, and aims to achieve an annual average net return in the range of 11% over a full investment cycle. The Fund aims to carry a lower volatility than that of the market, by diversifying asset classes, geographies and sectors, depending on market conditions.

IIAB Sukuk & Murabaha MENA Fund

The IIAB Sukuk & Murabaha MENA Fund is an open-ended, medium to long-term, medium-risk investment vehicle with particular focus on Sukuk, Murabaha and Shariah-compliant cash transactions initiated out of the MENA region. The Fund seeks to earn the highest level of current income, while seeking to preserve the value of the invested capital with the aim of achieving a net return exceeding 3-month USD LIBOR on an annualized basis.

IIAB MENA Feeder Fund

The IIAB MENA Feeder Fund was established in Guernsey Channel Islands and listed on the Channel Islands Stock Exchange (CISX). The Fund is a long term, medium risk investment vehicle that invests in the IIAB Islamic MENA Fund (Master Fund) with particular focus on listed equities in the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA) whilst adhering to Sharia principles. The Master Fund aims to achieve an annual average net return in the range of 11% over a full investment cycle. The Fund aims to carry a lower volatility than that of the market, by diversifying asset classes, geographies and sectors, depending on market conditions.
